Digital Innovation Officer @FSSC

As Digital Innovation (DI) Officer at FSSC you are responsible for implementing and executing innovative technologies and solutions that align with FSSC’s digital strategy, while maximizing the value of the existing technology portfolio. This role involves working closely with the business to ensure value realization from current SaaS solutions and to identify, evaluate, and deploy new technologies when necessary.
This position as Digital Innovation Officer requires someone that takes initiative, independently identifies opportunities, and proactively explores new ideas through research and pilot projects to support the successful adoption of innovative solutions across the organization.
You will be working in an IT team of around 23 and will report to Tiago Porteiro, Global Digital Innovation Manager.

Key-results

• Identify and evaluate new technologies and trends that align with FSSC’s digital strategy, leading pilot projects and managing the adoption of impactful innovations.
• Work closely with different teams to align digital solutions with operational needs, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the effective use of existing SaaS solutions, optimizing processes, and achieving measurable business outcomes.
• Drive the evaluation and adoption of new features for existing tools, maximizing value delivery while ensuring consistent performance and alignment with overall business goals and digital strategy.

Your education, knowledge, experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in IT
• Understanding of digital trends and emerging and innovative technologies.
• Awareness of change management principles to assist in technology adoption.
• Experienced contributor to digital innovation or in IT projects.
• Strong research and analytical skills for evaluating technologies and digital trends.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a high proficiency level
