The Operations Officer or Operations Assistant, provides support to the FSSC Executive Board, FSSC Global Team and External Stakeholders, and contributes to an efficient and pleasant work environment. The Operations Officer is responsible for support tasks that are practical and administrative in nature and require excellent communication skills.
You will be working closely together with a direct colleague Operations Officer and you will report to the Operations Director Melle Koedijk.

o External: General support to external stakeholders and answering helpdesk questions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The Operations Officer or Operations Assistant, provides support to the FSSC Executive Board, FSSC Global Team and External Stakeholders, and contributes to an efficient and pleasant work environment. The Operations Officer is responsible for support tasks that are practical and administrative in nature and require excellent communication skills.
You will be working closely together with a direct colleague Operations Officer and you will report to the Operations Director Melle Koedijk.
Key-results of the Operations Officer
- Manage communication channels:
o External: General support to external stakeholders and answering helpdesk questions
- Assisting the FSSC Global team with travel arrangements.
- Administrative tasks in various FSSC applications.
- Supporting in planning and preparing meetings and office events.
- Responsible for office supplies and facilities.
- Supportingthe procurement of new products and services
- Assist the FSSC Team in operational efficiency, having a holistic view of the organization and team members’ well-being.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on, conscientious and enthusiastic personality.
- High standard for customer service support, internal and external
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Affinity with the use of IT systems.
- Ability to adapt to the business of FSSC; Management System Certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and preferably Dutch as well, at a high proficiency level and ambition to work in an international environment.
- Experience in administrative -, customer -, office - and/or facility management is a plus.

- The indicative salary range for this position is €40.918 – €55.969 for 40 hours per week, working parttime for 32 hours per week is an option. The final salary will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
