Quality Manager @FSSC

Foundation FSSC is a non-profit organization and independent scheme owner with a mission: to give confidence and make an impact in the consumer goods industry. 
More than 35,500 organizations worldwide are certified to the FSSC 22000 Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems, including premium A brands. The FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability scheme was published about a year ago. Both schemes contribute to FSSC's vision to create a better world by helping organizations contribute to the SDG’s. FSSC employs about 50+ professionals, half of them work from the Netherlands, the rest from other locations in the world.
Because of the growth of the FSSC organization, we are recruiting for the vacancy of Quality Manager.
 

The Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the FSSC Integrated Management System (IMS). The FSSC IMS consist out of Quality-, Information Security (ISMS) – and Health & Safety Management Systems. This role is essential to maintain and increase the effectiveness of the organization’s operations, satisfaction of the customers and stakeholders and in supporting all FSSC team members in a quality way of working.

Key result areas

• Increase and embed quality awareness in the FSSC organization
• Develop, Maintain and implement measures and policies for an effective ISMS
• Monitor, measure and improve the effectiveness of the IMS
• Identify, mitigate and manage relevant organization risks
• Organize and supervise internal audits and management reviews
• Assist the FSSC Team in IMS tooling awareness and implementation

Performance goals

• Establish and implement an effective Quality Management System (based on ISO 9001) 
• Establish and implement an effective IMS
• Select and implement appropriate IMS tooling and support structure
• Achieve ISO 9001 certification in 2026 while maintaining ISO 27001 certification 

Required

• 5+ years of experience being responsible for an ISO 9001 certified QMS
• Able to demonstrate a history of delivering process improvement and project efficiency
• Able to work in an international and cultural divers organization
• Available for 32 – 40 hours

Preferred

• Experienced as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Experienced in being responsible for an IMS
• Experienced in LEAN Six Sigma
• Affinity with information security
