Senior PHP Developer

Our client is a rapidly expanding Dutch international e-commerce company dealing with “life-style” products with around 240 employees. With 5 worldwide offices active in 10 countries it is managing its market activities. Selling channels are various webshops, ebay and b-to-b.
Being a dynamic and growing business there is a strong need for developing and improving several international webshops. Therefore we are looking for a senior PHP Developer in Utrecht.

As a Senior PHP Developer you will be part of a highly motivated team of e-commerce software specialists. In de start of the year 2012 a maintenance team will be formed in China.
You will be developing new websites and online shops for the different brands in the different countries as well as coach and manage a team of developers. The web shops are mainly based on Magento en Drupal technology and are managed through one shared platform and one central database. Work procedures and development refer to the SCRUM method. Due to the huge success of the company you will find many opportunities to develop yourself in both technical as well as organisational and managerial areas.
As a Senior PHP Developer you will closely work together with the different country managers.

If you have good knowledge of PHP and preferably knowledge of Magento OR Drupal then please apply.

• Five years experience in PHP web development
• Good general knowledge of PHP, MySQL and LAMP
• Good knowledge of Javascript, XML, SQL en CSS
• Preferably knowledge of Magento or Drupal
• Preferably knowledge of Business Intelligence and building management “cock pits”
• Enthusiastic and communicative team member with a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills.
